DRAWING STUDIO
Our Drawing Studio options include various pathways of personal preference. Each pathway is offered as an approach to better learn and improve representational drawing abilities, technique and skill set, no matter what level of experience you may have.

Still - Life Drawing is a great way to learn how to create various compositions using three-dimensional forms in combination with strategic lighting. Still life references usually consist of setting up a combination of inanimate objects, such as fruit, flowers, and/or forms of different textures and surfaces.
​
Cast Drawing focuses on "drawing from the antique" or drawing from high quality plaster cast references. Cast drawing is a time tested practice that focuses on the simplification of the basics of proportion and value study.
​
Life Drawing also known as figure drawing, uses "virtual" models as a human form reference to work from. This classic method is regarded as one of the best ways for aspiring artists to learn to draw.

Whether its a refresher course or starting with the basics, Private Drawing Studio Instruction offers you an individualized plan with the flexibility of creating your own schedule.

OIL PAINTING STUDIO
Oil Painting Studio includes various pathways to help you improve your representational painting ability. Each pathway offers different methods of study, from beginner to advanced levels and any level in-between.

Still - Life Painting is a great way to learn how to create various compositions using three-dimensional forms in combination with strategic lighting. Still life references usually consist of setting up a combination of inanimate objects, such as fruit, flowers, and/or forms of different textures and surfaces as a reference to study.

Photo Reference Painting allows you the flexibility to pick your own photo reference as a source to work from.

Life Painting uses "virtual" models as a human form reference. Whether painting the whole form or just a portrait, this classic method of study is regarded as one of the best ways to study form, line, shape and depth.
